Cocktails?

October 1, 2008

Spring is here and with it the local spring racing carnival. That tends to put people in a party mood and what better way to entertain than with a few cocktails. Besides being a fun way to entertain, a cocktail party gives everyone a chance to give their race-day finery another airing.

If you’re hosting a cocktail gathering, one of the cardinal rules is to make sure you also offer plenty of food and non-alcoholic beverages.

To get you started, here are three ideas from a great new title, My Little Cocktail Book, which is being released this month by Murdoch Books. They’ve kindly let me reproduce them here.
