Chocolates
350g icing sugar
175g soft butter
1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
Blend these three ingredients together and divide into three or
four portions. Flavour each portion differently. You can try a little instant
coffee powder; orange, almond or peppermint essence; a spoonful of fruit
flavoured drink powder; or add some chopped dried fruit, nuts or cherries.
Shape the individual chocolate centres into rounds,
roll in cornflour then dip in melted chocolate and place on a very lightly
oiled plate to set. You can buy tiny pleated confectionery
cases (like miniature paper cupcake cases) if you want to box your chocolates
for someone special.
